When not carving sculptural pieces, or adding additions to his own home, Dennis will occasionally design new rooms for friends.  In 1997, a close family friend asked Dennis  to design and build a library modeled after Dennis' own library at his Pennsylvania home.  The final design includes four gables, 24 foot ceiling, a carved relief inspired from Native American myth and a good measure of custom wood trim.  The colors of the room (red, green, blue, gold and black) are inspired by Dennis' studies of Buddhism and were painstakingly mixed and recorded for future use in Dennis' studio.

He has the rare ability of being able to take my ideas and transform them into carved sculptures whose beauty exceeds anything imagined. -- Allan Greenberg, Architect
