In 1984, Allan Greenberg, the preeminent classicist architect in the United States, was commissioned to
re-appoint the United States Department of State's Treaty Room and Secretary's suite. Greenberg brought Dennis Collier on board to deliver some of the Capital's most beautiful rooms. Dennis'
contributions include the entrance to Secretary of State's office, the Secretary's desk, the Under Secretary's fireplace and brilliant capitals topping the columns in the Treaty Room. The
Greenberg-Collier collaboration has continued to this day, enhancing and realizing Greenberg's grand architecture with the finest cutom wood carving. |
